		    | The Inaugural  Biennial Conference on Malaysian Chinese Studies, organized by the Centre for  Malaysian Chinese Studies (CMCS), will be held on 9 and 10 June 2012 at the  Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.  The biennial conference will bring together, both local and international academicians,  to share their latest research findings on Malaysian Chinese. The conference, which is sponsored by the  family of the late Tan Sri Ngan Ching Wen, is organized as a biennial international  academic event by the CMCS. 		    | 3. Submission  Guidelines 
		        
		          |  | a The content  of the papers is the sole responsibility of the author. Chinese and English papers  shall not exceed 15,000 and 10,000 words respectively. b. Selected  papers will be considered for publication.
 c. The  deadline for submitting abstract of the papers is 31 December 2011. Please submit  titles and abstracts (about 500 words) with your personal information (including  affiliation, designation and contact details). All abstract of  the papers will be subject to a review process and those accepted will be  notified accordingly.
 d.  Full papers should be sent through e-mail to the organizer by 15 April 2012.
